Religion without sects. Why I am JUST a Muslim.

A Christian is of no sect. He can dwell in the midst of sects, and appear in their services, without being attached or bound to any. He hath but one knowledge, and that is, Christ in him.

~Jakob Boheme

In Islam, sects are regarded as a great misdeed to God in the Quran. Several times there are warnings about dividing Islam into sects.

Indeed, those who have divided their religion and become sects – you, [O Muhammad], are not [associated] with them in anything. Their affair is only [left] to Allah ; then He will inform them about what they used to do.

Cause it furthers people away from each other. It is like having a single cell that forever divides itself never coming back together to the nucleus. We have enough diversity coming from different nations trying to understand we all believe in the same things and want the same things as humans, why further divide amongst a single nation or religion?

This is why we have Sunni against Shite wars. It’s a very sad time indeed to see a Muslim fighting another, and you can bet God is watching this all going on.

So I am a muslim that calls themselves ONLY a muslim according to the Quran. Not a “Quranist” or “moderate muslim”, simply a muslim who follows the Book of Wisdom given to us. Sounds like Jakob Boheme was just a Christian and refused to divide into sects as well…
