Equals Movie: Love, Procreation, DNA and God

By now, most of my followers know I am a woman who loves her sci-fi movies. But because I am such a deeply devoted Muslim, I see the One God or Source of creation in EVERYTHING. So it has become an exciting game to watch movies, and observe the world, and discover what is an example of something in connection to God, and what is an example of something further from God.

One I watched this weekend, was called “Equals” with Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult as the main leads. This movie is a strange trip into a dystopian future where emotions are regarded as illnesses to cure. One of the great joys about watching movies, like this is because of the faith that I have to understand that humans are far LESS powerful than God. And even though they like to play God with other lives, and in their little controlled societies, there is a power beyond human control. This power is what I call God.

In this movie, the senses are dulled by human drugs who think they understand the path to peace. Yet, as the movie progress you feel a “presence” of something beyond science at work that is turning on all these dormant genes in the people of the future. Yes, there is an awakening happening. In a world where artificial insemination is the way to produce a child, love and sex are forbidden. It makes a very sterile external society as well, where the only escape is suicide.

Sometimes we need to be able to look at the DNA marking of humans as the gifts we were bestowed with at the creation of Adam. I believe that whether we see our own DNA as having flaws or defects, they are a product of God. Each DNA strand is a code that in combination forms the blueprint of the human body. While I don’t believe in pre destiny and believe we create our own by the choices we make, I do believe we are dealt out certain attributes, a mix of good and bad and it is how you play your hand that matters.

I am going to spoil this movie, but you must watch it for yourself in order to understand what I am saying about it. At the end, even though a “cure” for emotions is passed out, there is a very exciting idea that even through the inhibitors of emotions dulling people’s senses, love can not be stopped.

I was stirred at the end with the ability to connect what God always intended for mankind, was to feel love at it’s highest form. Sex has never been a sin in it’s purity. Like all things, there is a spectrum of sex that lies in the negative energy expression (rape, excess with multiple partners, adultery). But “coupling” which is considered a crime in the movie, is about the advancement of the human species.  Falling in love, and experiencing the deep feelings that accompany them, that eventually leads to procreation is a beautiful dance of creation.

You see it so clearly in this movie. The doctors think they are so brilliant in this technologically advanced society, but they have no clue what a crime it is to OPRESS the human spirit and feelings of love. Like I said, I get a special kind of kick from watching these movies and observing that there is a power behind human minds large at work here.

While they scrambled to look for a cure to dull all emotional feelings, little did they even foresee into the future that there would be some people that they could never  be “tamed” and some relationships they could not stop from happening because it is something that comes from DEEP within the DNA structure. There is no ability to “switch” off emotional receptors to stop love from forming between two people.

It’s the story of creation, and there is no end until God decides the end for humanity.

Favorite Poem of All Times As a Muslim Woman.

“Amo amas amat amamus amatis amant amavi amavisti amavit amavimus amavistis amaverunt amavero amaveris amaverit… Everything was love. Everything will be love. Everything has been love. Everything would be love. Everything would have been love. Ah, that was it, the truth at last. Everything would have been love. The huge eye, which had become an immense sphere, was gently breathing, only it was not an eye nor a sphere but a great wonderful animal covered in little waving legs like hairs, waving oh so gently as if they were under water. All shall be well and all shall be well said the ocean. So the place of reconciliation existed after all, not like a little knot hole in a cupboard but flowing everywhere and being everything. I had only to will it and it would be, for spirit is omnipotent only I never knew it, like being able to walk on the air. I could forgive. I could be forgiven. I could forgive. Perhaps that was the whole of it after all. Perhaps being forgiven was just forgiving only no one had ever told me. There was nothing else needful. Just to forgive. Forgiving equals being forgiven, the secret of the universe, do not whatever you do forget it. The past was folded up and in the twinkling of an eye everything had been changed and made beautiful and good.”

Midnight Special Movie and the Seven other Earths and Heavens.

I just watched an amazing movie, that left me really filled with beautiful emotions. God is so much more wondrous than we realize, and created a universe so vast and so complex than we can imagine.

23:17 And We have created above you seven layered heavens, and never have We been of [Our] creation unaware.

65:12 It is Allah who has created seven heavens and of the earth, the like of them. [His] command descends among them so you may know that Allah is over all things competent and that Allah has encompassed all things in knowledge.

Spoiler Alert*****

The Quran speaks about different dimensions unseen many times in the Quran. There are beings in the universe that God created using different elements and building blocks of their nature. We are carbon based creatures, living on earth with water and greenery. But there are so many other different beings living on different elements needing different atmospheres to survive. Two of the species we hear about in the Quran are the Angels, and the Jinns. Angels are made of Light. Jinns are made of smokeless fire. These are two different forms of energy that God created conscious beings with.

The movie is about a boy with an unusual gift. He shoots light out of his eyes and is extremely technologically advanced and sensitive. As the movie progresses you realize that light is not just in his eyes, but actually is a part of who he really is. He and his family realize that he is not from earth, but belongs to a civilization that lives ON TOP of our earth, but in a different dimension or layer of space. Towards the end, the veil thins and we get a glimpse into the beautiful and highly advanced world this boy is really from being really a Light being.

Several references of veils concealing the spiritual world from the physical one:

7:46 Between them shall be a veil, and on the heights will be men who would know every one by his marks: they will call out to the Companions of the Garden, “peace on you”: they will not have entered, but they will have an assurance (thereof).

42:51 It is not given to any human being that Allah should speak to him unless (it be) by Inspiration, or from behind a veil, or (that) He sends a Messenger to reveal what He wills by His Leave. Verily, He is Most High, Most Wise.

50:22 Certainly you were heedless of it, but now We have removed from you your veil, so your sight today is sharp.

The way the movie used the idea of the different dimension on top of our  world, but separated by a veil or fabric of space, is well done. It is a low budget Indie film with Kirstin Dunst, and some other well known actors, but they do a great job with the effects being an independent film.

Something interesting to note is you learn the boy is being worshipped as part of a cult at first, because when he stares at people or gives a glimpse of his eyes, they feel a sense of peace and comfort. This is probably why they felt he was from Heaven showing them Heaven. What he really was showing was images of his home, an older advanced society that lives peacefully watching over us.

This movie makes you really think about the connection between Angels and aliens living in other dimension besides us. I highly recommend it and I hope you enjoy it for it’s simplistic beauty and other worldly trip.

MIDNIGHT-SPECIAL-QUAD

Surah Abraham (Ibrahim): Chapter 14 (line 20-30)

20. And that is not difficult for God.

21. They will emerge before God, altogether. The weak will say to those who were proud, “We were your followers, can you protect us at all against God’s punishment?” They will say, “Had God guided us, we would have guided you. It is the same for us; whether we mourn, or are patient; there is no asylum for us.”

22. And Satan will say, when the issue is settled, “God has promised you the promise of truth, and I promised you, but I failed you. I had no authority over you, except that I called you, and you answered me. So do not blame me, but blame yourselves. I cannot come to your aid, nor can you come to my aid. I reject your associating with me in the past. The wrongdoers will have a torment most painful.”

23. But those who believed and did good deeds will be admitted into gardens beneath which rivers flow, to remain therein forever, by leave of their Lord. Their greeting therein will be: “Peace.”

24. Do you not see how God presents a parable? A good word is like a good tree—its root is firm, and its branches are in the sky.

25. It yields its fruits every season by the will of its Lord. God presents the parables to the people, so that they may reflect.

26. And the parable of a bad word is that of a bad tree—it is uprooted from the ground; it has no stability.

27. God gives firmness to those who believe, with the firm word, in this life, and in the Hereafter. And God leads the wicked astray. God does whatever He wills.

28. Have you not seen those who exchanged the blessing of God with blasphemy, and landed their people into the house of perdition?

29. Hell—they will roast in it. What a miserable settlement.

30. And they set up rivals to God, in order to lead away from His path. Say, “Enjoy yourselves; your destination is the Fire.”

My Interpretation:

Gabriel is giving very intense and very important information to Muhammad so that he may save some people. This is why Muhammad is called the prophet, because he was infused with the vision to actually see the End of mankind. Here is an image of the rows upon rows of disbelievers, who when asked by the angels, why they didn’t believe, they point at others. They point their fingers to the leaders who lead them astray be they heads of atheist organizations, or anti religion protestors, or satanists who claim the Abrahamic religions to be false. There are too many groups of people these days who sit there and claim “there is no God”. Let’s put it this way. I would hate to be Richard Dawkins when the Angels come to face him and ask what he has been pushing others all his life.

Anyone who even put the idea of there is no God, no Hell, and no Heaven in the masses minds are included in the leaders who the sheep followers will blame. But here we see that even the following sheep will be punished. There is no substitution for their stupidity, they made the choice to follow the person with nothing but hate in their hearts for God and the Messengers, and now they will experience that hate back.

Line 22, a very prophetic line is when Satan will even denounce his followers and tell everyone they have been lead wrongly and they chose unwisely to follow him and his minions.

Those who believed, and saw the good in God will experience the Good in the Hereafter. It will be two different realities experienced by two groups of people and it has to do with the state of mind someone keeps themselves locked in. Locked in the state of love for God, you experience this love. Locked in the state of hate and alienation from God, you experience this. Once again, God does not do the work for you.

Line 24 is the key to all these religious texts and WHY they were placed here. God knew that humans learn best through stories that can relate to their lives. Gabriel is telling Muhammad that the reason God presents messages in parables is not because they are fairytales, it is because they seep in deeply into the subconsciousness of humans. I still remember the fairytales that taught me what is good and what is evil in the world. Those stories became my building blocks for the reality around me. I learned that if you are patient and true like Cinderella was through a tough upbringing, you will eventually find your own way out of misery into the dreams you always had.

These are the ways humans learn best. Through parables and myths and stories about human behaviors and the battle between good and evil. Gabriel is telling Muhammad this as a secret to share with others and to prove the usefulness of the parables given.

The parable of doing a good deed and saying good things to others, is it forms foundations that leads to greater enjoyment later. A bad word towards others does not have enough life to create growth and therefore it is uprooted and leads to nothing but lostness of the soul.

Line 28 is where Gabriel is telling Muhammad that those who lied about God and then taught their people the wrong things will be most in trouble, being given the responsibility and then misusing it to bring others to ruin spiritually. I believe Gabriel is giving Muhammad a warning to remember to never alter the messages given to him. Never before in another Holy Book is this commanded and it was probably about time the truth came out about how much religion has altered over the time before the Quran came to him.

Parables are more than just stories to entertain humans

Surah Abraham (Ibrahim): Chapter 14 (line 10-20)

10. Their messengers said, “Is there any doubt about God, Maker of the heavens and the earth? He calls you to forgive you your sins, and to defer you until a stated term.” They said, “You are only humans like us; you want to turn us away from what our ancestors worshiped; so bring us a clear proof.”

11. Their messengers said to them, “We are only humans like you, but God favors whomever He wills from among His servants. We cannot possibly show you any proof, except by leave of God. In God let the faithful put their trust.”

12. “And why should we not trust in God, when He has guided us in our ways? We will persevere in the face of your persecution. And upon God the reliant should rely.”

13. Those who disbelieved said to their messengers, “We will expel you from our land, unless you return to our religion.” And their Lord inspired them: “We will destroy the wrongdoers.”

14. “And We will settle you in the land after them. That is for him who fears My Majesty, and fears My threats.”

15. And they prayed for victory, and every stubborn tyrant came to disappointment.

16. Beyond him lies Hell, and he will be given to drink putrid water.

17. He will guzzle it, but he will not swallow it. Death will come at him from every direction, but he will not die. And beyond this is relentless suffering.

18. The likeness of those who disbelieve in their Lord: their works are like ashes, in a fierce wind, on a stormy day. They have no control over anything they have earned. That is the utmost misguidance.

19. Do you not see that God created the heavens and the earth with truth? If He wills, He can do away with you, and bring a new creation.

20. And that is not difficult for God.

My Interpretation:

Gabriel is still here telling Muhammad about the past and how the messengers before him  had to speak out against their own communities. Many were threatened to be exiled and others even threatened to be killed. It is a hard journey for the messengers of God who have been chosen to relay the message, but the rewards of the position are great. Forever you are protected in God’s graces and spiritually enlightened enough to not let much of the world affect you.

Every tyrant who did not listen to the messengers of the past, were punished in some way, either in this life or the hereafter. Gabriel describes to Muhammad a terrible torment that disbelievers receive, and says all their good deeds done out of their own egos and not for God, are wiped away like ashes blowing in a storm.

If they are arrogant and rude to God’s messengers then it shows the shallowness of their hearts and brains. God sends to them whatever they deserve in retribution for their arrogant natures.

Someone who says they are agnostic, or does not know if God exists, are not as insulting to God and the Angels. But someone who sits there and denies all the messengers, historical accounts, books, wise teachers, and laws from God is on another level of ego altogether. They are attached to their ego and limited brain, and God and the Angels will show them this in the end.

arrogant

Surah Abraham (Ibrahim): Chapter 14 (line 1-10)

In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.

1. Alif, Lam, Ra. A Scripture that We revealed to you, that you may bring humanity from darkness to light—with the permission of their Lord—to the path of the Almighty, the Praiseworthy.

2. God—to whom belongs what is in the heavens and the earth. And woe to the disbelievers from a severe torment.

3. Those who prefer the present life to the Hereafter, and repel from the path of God, and seek to make it crooked—these are far astray.

4. We never sent any messenger except in the language of his people, to make things clear for them. God leads astray whom He wills, and guides whom He wills. He is the Mighty, the Wise.

5. We sent Moses with Our signs: “Bring your people out of darkness into light, and remind them of the Days of God.” In that are signs for every patient and thankful person.”

6. Moses said to his people, “Remember God’s blessings upon you, as He delivered you from the people of Pharaoh, who inflicted on you terrible suffering, slaughtering your sons while sparing your daughters. In that was a serious trial from your Lord.”

7. And when your Lord proclaimed: “If you give thanks, I will grant you increase; but if you are ungrateful, My punishment is severe.”

8. And Moses said, “Even if you are ungrateful, together with everyone on earth—God is in no need, Worthy of Praise.”

9. Has not the story reached you, of those before you, the people of Noah, and Aad, and Thamood—and those after them? None knows them except God. Their messengers came to them with the clear proofs, but they tried to silence them, and said, “We reject what you are sent with, and we are in serious doubt regarding what you are calling us to.”

10. Their messengers said, “Is there any doubt about God, Maker of the heavens and the earth? He calls you to forgive you your sins, and to defer you until a stated term.” They said, “You are only humans like us; you want to turn us away from what our ancestors worshiped; so bring us a clear proof.”

My Interpretation:

Gabriel is giving Muhammad a glimpse into the past, a quick look at all the different messengers used as a medium to share God’s words. These revelations have had no other purpose other than to help humanity advance spiritually, socially, emotionally, and mentally. God did not drop us on this planet hoping we learn without any guidance. There has always been angelic messengers, and human messengers to help human civilization advance.

Muhammad is being told of ancient civilizations that have fallen and been destroyed, because they showed themselves to be a people without faith or Reason. They have been destroyed by natural events, and a new civilization in its place. This is the path of Creation. The moment a species that stops being productive and progressive in thinking and spiritual nature will eventually die out. Possibly if they see only life as being born, living to accumulate things, and then death, then they can not survive very long. The drive for spiritual attainment is what keeps a civilization going..changing and evolving to live long years into the future.

These are the warnings given to Muhammad to tell Mecca which has grown into a big civilization that has reached their limits of spiritual understanding. Muhammad was the catalyst for their change, just as all nations had a catalyst.

Surah Thunder (ar-Ra’d): Chapter 13 (line 30-43)

30. Thus We sent you among a community before which other communities have passed away, that you may recite to them what We revealed to you. Yet they deny the Benevolent One. Say, “He is my Lord; there is no god but He; in Him I trust, and to Him is my repentance.”

31. Even if there were a Quran, by which mountains could be set in motion, or by which the earth could be shattered, or by which the dead could be made to speak. In fact, every decision rests with God. Did the believers not give up and realize that had God willed, He would have guided all humanity? Disasters will continue to strike those who disbelieve, because of their deeds, or they fall near their homes, until God’s promise comes true. God never breaks a promise.

32. Messengers before you were ridiculed, but I granted the disbelievers respite, and then I seized them. What a punishment it was!

33. Is He who is watchful over the deeds of every soul? Yet they ascribe associates to God. Say, “Name them! Or are you informing Him of something on earth He does not know, or is it a show of words?” In fact, the scheming of those who disbelieve is made to appear good to them, and they are averted from the path. Whomever God misguides has no guide.

34. There is for them torment in the worldly life, but the torment of the Hereafter is harsher. And they have no defender against God.

35. The likeness of the Garden promised to the righteous: rivers flowing beneath it; its food is perpetual, and so is its shade. Such is the sequel for those who guard against evil, but the sequel of the disbelievers is the Fire.

36. Those to whom We gave the Scripture rejoice in what was revealed to you, while some factions reject parts of it. Say, “I am commanded to worship God, and to never associate anything with Him. To Him I invite, and to Him is my return.”

37. Thus We revealed it an Arabic code of law. Were you to follow their desires, after the knowledge that has come to you, you would have neither ally nor defender against God.

38. We sent messengers before you, and We assigned for them wives and offspring. No messenger could bring a sign except with the permission of God. For every era is a scripture.

39. God abolishes whatever He wills, and He affirms. With Him is the source of the Scripture.

40. Whether We show you some of what We have promised them, or We cause you to die—your duty is to inform, and Ours is the reckoning.

41. Do they not see how We deal with the earth, diminishing it at its edges? God judges; and nothing can hold back His judgment. And He is quick to settle accounts.

42. Those before them planned, but the entire plan is up to God. He knows what every soul earns. Those who disbelieve will know to whom the Ultimate Home is.

43. Those who disbelieve say, “You are not a messenger.” Say, “God is a sufficient witness between me and you, and whoever has knowledge of the Scripture.”

My Interpretation:

Gabriel is telling Muhammad that he has been chosen to speak to a community of people that have already been spoken to before about partnering God with other gods. Muhammad is told to say exactly, “He is my Lord; there is no god but He; in Him I trust, and to Him is my repentance.” This should inspire people to think and to gather the people who trust in One God together.

Even if there was a Quran that could move mountains and physically manipulate the earth, some people still would not listen. Gabriel says that Muhammad was not the only messenger or prophet of God, and there have been many before him. Even though they were mocked and ridiculed, the consequences of the people doing the mocking was severe. In some form of another they suffered the consequences of not being a good person, and not having trust in a power greater than them.

Gabriel continues to console Muhammad and let him know that even though he may have a struggle being the warner and the messenger, he is backed by God and the Angels. When you are doing the right thing, and are simply spreading the messages of God..you will always be protected. God knows the insides of people’s minds and knows who to further guide because of their genuine curiosity and who to let fall behind because of their ego.

I must say in my own life, I have discovered this to be true. When I meet a disbelieving person and they ridicule me for my beliefs calling me delusional, unintelligent, idiotic, and fantasy brained, I simply get a glimpse into their personality of WHO they are. That is all it shows me is that they are not a nice or respectful person. Now imagine God being able to see every lie, every cheat, every cowardly action of a person. This is what Gabriel is trying to console Muhammad on. Everyone in the End gets what they deserve. If they worked hard at becoming a nasty person, they will see the rotten fruits of this. If they have worked hard at being loving and caring, they will see the fruits of this.

Line 36 speaks about how through the Bible, and the Torah, and possibly even the Rig Vedas and other ancient holy books, people in charge have decided to take out what they felt didn’t fit into their society and keep what they wanted and only teach the people these things. This is wrong of them and didn’t give the full picture about God and the commands. And if I can intuitively understand the way religion is so corrupted these days with the leaders forcing people to take part in cultural practices instead of what God wants, I can see what Gabriel is talking about. Too many in charge have manipulated religion to either give them more power and control, or take away  freedom and imprison people spiritually and perhaps even physically for their own gain of power.

When Muhammad comes across the leaders who have altered religion to fit their ideologies of life, Muhammad is told by Gabriel to say to them that he worships none other than One God that is unseen and indescribable except in broad terms that span across time and space.

Line 37 says WHY the Quran was brought down in Arabic. It was so that the other language speaking leaders, could NOT alter it and it kept pure from their hands. Only the Arabs that spoke Arabic could read it and then translate it later. It did not fall prey to the greedy leaders of Europe because they did not speak Arabic and could not understand it in order to rewrite it. It was a safe keeping and given to a society that was not yet touched by a book-the Middle Eastern Arabs. God observed all too much about what happened with the Jewish and Christian books, in which too many hands got a hold of them and rewrote what they felt fit into their view of spiritual power and claim of land. God was trying to prevent this same travesty from happening again by given it to Muhammad, a man who only spoke Arabic and this book was in his tongue.

Let me say this, many people ask me how do I know it is the right translation in English…I will tell you how I know. Because I believe that many muslims took to heart the message that this book was for ALL of mankind. They did not keep it to themselves, and they DARED not alter the message, because this is warned about under penalty of severe punishment by God.  Also when I read the English version, it made me emotional and speechless at times that could only be intuitively felt to be accurate warnings and comments about the world. It is written in the same objective voice in Arabic as it is in English, and even though some words may be hard to translate fully, using my mind and “decoding” I can find the truer meaning.

Muhammad is told directly his duty is to inform people and God’s is to recognize what humanity does with the information and which souls prove themselves good and which do not.

Gabriel tells Muhammad that anyone who says that Muhammad is not a messenger, then Muhammad is supposed to say God is his witness that he is.

More Thought On the “Join Together” Command from God. It’s Serious.

Surah 13: 19-21.Then is he who knows that what has been revealed to you from your Lord is the truth like one who is blind? They will only be reminded who are people of understanding -Those who fulfill the covenant of Allah and do not break the contract, And those who join what God has commanded to be joined, and fear their Lord, and dread the dire reckoning.

2:27 Who break the covenant of Allah after contracting it and sever that which Allah has ordered to be joined and cause corruption on earth. It is those who are the losers.

13:12 But those who break the covenant of Allah after contracting it and sever that which Allah has ordered to be joined and spread corruption on earth – for them is the curse, and they will have the worst home.

This is the ultimate command from God to join religions together, even if it is only in the heart and mind. This is the path of Islam and a Muslim’s duty. Many people talk about unity of Religions like it is a new idea only thought of today by loving people. It is not. It is an ancient one hidden for a very long time and many are rediscovering. God always intended for humans to realize their innate unity and join back together with the worship of One Invisible God. There was never supposed to be this many sects and branches of religion, to cause this many wars and ego battles between who is right and wrong.

It says it right there, if you are on the side of unity and in your mind you understand it, you are a person of Understanding as far as the Quran speaks about. You are also on the side of the Angels, and are a doer of Good.

If you are constantly trying to disconnect people and cause rifts in people’s thinking that a muslim is spiritually different than a christian, or vice versa, you are playing with fire. You are literally going against what has been ordained by God. You are preventing a unification process from happening and this is against God and the Angels. If you did not know this, stop right now, and ask for forgiveness in your ignorance you did not understand what God really wanted from us. If you keep on this path, be warned this is the path of those who will be considered the losers and inhabitants of Hell.

Religious unity and equality isn’t a new age buzzword..it is an ultimate goal for humanity.
