Surah The Night Journey (al-Isra’): Chapter 17 line 40-50

40. Has your Lord favored you with sons, while choosing for Himself daughters from among the angels? You are indeed saying a terrible thing.

41. We have explained in this Quran in various ways, that they may remember, but it only adds to their rebellion.

42. Say, “If there were other gods with Him, as they say, they would have sought a way to the Lord of the Throne.”

43. Be He glorified. He is exalted, far above what they say.

44. Praising Him are the seven heavens, and the earth, and everyone in them. There is not a thing that does not glorify Him with praise, but you do not understand their praises. He is indeed Forbearing and Forgiving.

45. When you read the Quran, We place between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter an invisible barrier.

46. And We drape veils over their hearts, preventing them from understanding it, and heaviness in their ears. And when you mention your Lord alone in the Quran, they turn their backs in aversion.

47. We know well what they listen to, when they listen to you, as they conspire, when the wrongdoers say, “You only follow a man bewitched.”

48. Note what they compared you to. They are lost, and unable to find a way.

49. And they say, “When we have become bones and fragments, shall we really be resurrected as a new creation?”

50. Say, “Even if you become rocks or iron.

My Interpretations:

Here Gabriel as the Angelic Messenger to Allah/Source is telling Muhammad that all the other gods and goddesses that the pagans of Mecca have created (or been evoked to worship by darker Satanic forces) truly come from ONE source. And humans attribute smaller gods and goddesses, but this consciousness is far greater than that even.

All things and beings praise Allah/God voluntarily and involuntarily because either they act in service to God, or they show the opposite of God, and that also is in service to God.

I can explain it better using this metaphor:

A dark night casts darkness, but the stars cast light, only because the night is so dark. So in essence BOTH good and evil work towards shining a light or “illuminating” mankind about God.

Line 45 is true. After I have read the Quran, I lost many people in connection, but I also have gained friends too. I saw the truth in the world very clearly, and those who refuse to read the Quran are lost without this wisdom of understanding what is REALLY going on in the world about Islam and the wars at hand. There is no other way. If you WANT wisdom and are a seeker of God, you need to read all the books brought down and learn about the truth from the source, about all religions. You can not rely on the news to give you the understanding about Islam-sadly this is what many people are choosing. I fear it will be a negative imprint on their soul to show this lack of wisdom and then judge Islam from this lack of wisdom.

The last few lines show Muhammad his struggle ahead. People are going to constantly mock, belittle, not believe him in these revelations. And that is ok, because THAT in itself was a test of people’s faith and letting go of their ego when they sought to listen to Muhammad instead of dismissing him.

Surah The Night Journey (al-Isra’): Chapter 17 line 30-40

30. Your Lord expands the provision for whomever He wills, and restricts it. He is fully Informed, Observant of His servants.

31. And do not kill your children for fear of poverty. We provide for them, and for you. Killing them is a grave sin.

32. And do not come near adultery. It is immoral, and an evil way.

33. And do not kill the soul which God has made sacred, except in the course of justice. If someone is killed unjustly, We have given his next of kin certain authority. But he should not be excessive in killing, for he will be supported.

34. And do not go near the orphan’s property, except with the best of intentions, until he has reached his maturity. And honor your pledge, because the pledge involves responsibility.

35. And give full measure when you measure, and weigh with accurate scales. That is fair, and the best determination.

36. And do not occupy yourself with what you have no knowledge of. The hearing, and the sight, and the brains—all these will be questioned.

37. And do not walk proudly on earth. You can neither pierce the earth, nor can you match the mountains in height.

38. The evil of all these is disliked by your Lord.

39. That is some of the wisdom your Lord has revealed to you. Do not set up with God another god, or else you will be thrown in Hell, rebuked and banished.

40. Has your Lord favored you with sons, while choosing for Himself daughters from among the angels? You are indeed saying a terrible thing.

My Interpretations:

I will be very honest. These verses are what made my heart know that this guidance comes from the same source of the guidance of the Gita, Torah, and Quran in terms of establishing law in the land. There is a sense of law that exists outside of humankind, and it is total Truth and Justice. Here we see Muhammad being given the revelations from Angel Gabriel.

All these things sadly plague the soul of humanity such as child killing, adultery, killing without a trail first of someone convicted of a crime. Establishing these things would elevate the Arab nation to the next level, let alone humanity.

Line 39 shows the ultimate temptation of mankind to believe they are somewhat more powerful than the Higher Source that connects us all. If a person lives in their ego too much, they refuse to connect to the Higher Soul or to the Prime Creator which is Allah in the Arabic tongue. This is why I am happy to bow and pray to a higher source. I love feeling part of something Higher than my ego identity and I am happy to devote myself to spreading the messages and God’s Will for peace on earth, as a muslim.

Line 40 tells much about the times, when goddesses were worshipped. And the Quran is trying to teach that, BOTH genders are neither favored or preferred. They simple are equal in creation and express unique energies and roles within society and the universe even. There is never a need to favor one gender over another, but to remain balanced in understanding that we can have a gender identity, but still see both genders as equal in creation.

I am happy to be a woman in this life, but I do not think women are higher or lower to men. We are equal spiritually. Many times in my videos, I do hint at the idea where we do need to have more female religious leaders now, because this will give earth a new perspective on Spirit, which is what earth needs at this time. But it does not mean I see females as the preferred gender.

Also line 40 is talking about the cruel killing of the baby daughters that Pagan Mecca leaders made up as a law of the gods based on error of judgement. So Gabriel is trying to have Muhammad speak to the people to understand that no gender is favored as gods, and no gender is told to be killed off as seen lower importance. Both genders are needed for greater balance and good in the world.

Surah The Night Journey (al-Isra’): Chapter 17 line 20-30

20. To all—these and those—We extend from the gifts of your Lord. The gifts of your Lord are not restricted.

21. See how We have favored some of them over others; yet the Hereafter is greater in ranks, and greater in favors.

22. Do not set up another god with God, lest you become condemned and damned.

23. Your Lord has commanded that you worship none but Him, and that you be good to your parents. If either of them or both of them reach old age with you, do not say to them a word of disrespect, nor scold them, but say to them kind words.

24. And lower to them the wing of humility, out of mercy, and say, “My Lord, have mercy on them, as they raised me when I was a child.”

25. Your Lord knows best what is in your minds. If you are righteous—He is Forgiving to the obedient.

26. And give the relative his rights, and the poor, and the wayfarer, and do not squander wastefully.

27. The extravagant are brethren of the devils, and the devil is ever ungrateful to his Lord.

28. But if you turn away from them, seeking mercy from your Lord which you hope for, then say to them words of comfort.

29. And do not keep your hand tied to your neck, nor spread it out fully, lest you end up liable and regretful.

30. Your Lord expands the provision for whomever He wills, and restricts it. He is fully Informed, Observant of His servants.

My Interpretations:

Gabriel is giving Muhammad deep insight into the levels of Heaven. Based on the life you live and the accomplishments of the heart you carry, you experience different levels of Heaven which can be experienced as different types of experiences. This is the same for Hell.

As many perspectives and lives there are in the universe, that is how many unique experiences of Heaven or Hell there will be. It is all a reflection, reflecting back what you gave in this lifetime.

When you divide God/Allah, you split up the psyche of consciousness and will not return to the WHOLE of Allah in death because your consciousness only saw division. It is a system of Law that works on Logic. What you do and SEE on earth in limited understanding or view will not all of a sudden give you sight in death. This is a sweet thought, but it is false, because it is not congruent to the laws of nature which show everything is about cause and effect.

Line 23, Muhammad learns the idea of respect for your parents and to treat them with kindness and show them the love they showed you, once they turn older. This also is a law based on Cause and Effect.

The Lord consciousness above us all, knows what is exactly in the heart of every man and woman. When you do things in kindness and with love, you can never do harm. Everyone will be judged equally for what they have earned.

Line 29 is a metaphor to show don’t be stingy or wisdom with your wealth or energy. Do things with an open heart and mind, but don’t be foolish in draining you of wealth or energy. There are many who unfortunately decide to take advantage of those with a good heart.

Muhammad is being taught this wisdom to pass on to his fellow mankind and let them know that when you follow your heart to do goodness, in turn that is what you earn.

Surah The Night Journey (al-Isra’): Chapter 17 line 10-20

10. And those who do not believe in the Hereafter—We have prepared for them a painful punishment.

11. The human being prays for evil as he prays for good. The human being is very hasty.

12. We have made the night and the day two wonders. We erased the wonder of the night, and made the wonder of the day revealing, that you may seek bounty from your Lord, and know the number of years, and the calculation. We have explained all things in detail.

13. For every person We have attached his fate to his neck. And on the Day of Resurrection, We will bring out for him a book which he will find spread open.

14. “Read your book; today there will be none but yourself to call you to account.”

15. Whoever is guided—is guided for his own good. And whoever goes astray—goes astray to his detriment. No burdened soul carries the burdens of another, nor do We ever punish until We have sent a messenger.

16. When We decide to destroy a town, We command its affluent ones, they transgress in it, so the word becomes justified against it, and We destroy it completely.

17. How many generations have We destroyed after Noah? Your Lord is sufficient as Knower and Beholder of the sins of his servants.

18. Whoever desires the fleeting life, We expedite for him what We decide to give him, to whomever We desire. Then We consign him to Hell, where he will roast, condemned and defeated.

19. But whoever desires the Hereafter, and pursues it as it should be pursued, while he is a believer; these—their effort will be appreciated.

20. To all—these and those—We extend from the gifts of your Lord. The gifts of your Lord are not restricted.

My Interpretation:

As one reads this with belief already in higher sources of information, you can see this “voice” does not come from a human source, but is indeed an objective one just telling humanity that way it is. Muhammad is the audience, and the student learning.

Muhammad is learning at this moment that many humans do evil and ask for evil things to happen, unaware of the fact that they are indeed evil. Allah will let them know everything in the end when your consciousness and subconsciousness is laid out for you to be your own witness with God to what you have done in your life.

Here we see God as not an impartial judge, but is solely the vehicle for a soul to LEARN. Allah/God provides the “space” above time and physical space to review and learn the truth of your actions in life.

Line 14 is telling Muhammad that each soul in death will get a chance to read their own book of life, and actions will be called into account.

I love line 15, as a freedom lover, nobody can influence your soul unless you choose for it to. You truly are the one responsible for all actions and can not blame completely on those in charge making you do something against your will. There are ways to defy evil and an example of being part of the German Nazi party comes to mind.

Those Nazi Party members in death will not be able to blame Hitler for their actions. Each soul is responsible and in that is a beautiful freedom.

When you don’t follow others, and instead follow your own heart and mind to do good, the rewards are great in this world and the hereafter.

Surah Al-Nahl (The Bee): Chapter 16 line 120-128

120. Abraham was an exemplary leader, devoted to God, a monotheist, and was not of the polytheists.

121. Thankful for His blessings. He chose him, and guided him to a straight path.

122. And We gave him goodness in this world, and in the Hereafter he will be among the righteous.

123. Then We inspired you: “Follow the religion of Abraham, the Monotheist. He was not an idol-worshiper.”

124. The Sabbath was decreed only for those who differed about it. Your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection regarding their differences.

125. Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good advice, and debate with them in the most dignified manner. Your Lord is aware of those who stray from His path, and He is aware of those who are guided.

126. If you were to retaliate, retaliate to the same degree as the injury done to you. But if you resort to patience—it is better for the patient.

127. So be patient. Your patience is solely from God. And do not grieve over them, and do not be stressed by their schemes.

128. God is with those who are righteous and those who are virtuous.

My Interpretation:

This is a powerful moment of showing Muhammad the righteousness Abraham had as a character that stood up to his community who were polytheists. Abraham would not divide God in his mind, and he was chosen as a true devotee.Archangel Gabriel is saying that because of this devotion and willing to be of service, he will be rewarded in Heaven.

Now the same duty is on Muhammad to become a beacon to his people of Arabia and light the path back HOME to God.

We learn in Line 124, that the day of the Sabbath became a test for people to see who would kill, harm and argue over it and who would be peaceful about the Sabbath revelations and truths. Everyone will be judged according to what they have done in life.

Muhammad’s job is to invite people to discuss God and the revelations with people and guide them to the righteous path. Allah/ God will see who listens and who does not because of their arrogance. Often times a messenger is born to test others to see who is so stuck in their own ego and will not listen, and who is good and true and wants to learn from others who have been given wisdom over others.

Line 126 is proof that the Quran only guides us towards equal self defense for those who attack you, but the BEST action is to have patience for others and to bestow mercy when you are able to do so.

Line 127 is such a great reminder to anyone who is a muslim and devotee to God, that we should remain patience and understand that God has everything under control. We do what we can and offer guidance or teachings (Dawah), but it is always up to the individual to find their own path to back towards God.

God is always with those who are righteous and full of virtue. They are the ones aligned to the power of God to overcome evil.

Surah Al-Nahl (The Bee): Chapter 16 (line 110-120)

110. But then your Lord—for those who emigrated after being persecuted, then struggled and persevered—your Lord thereafter is Forgiving and Merciful.

111. On the Day when every soul will come pleading for itself, and every soul will be paid in full for what it has done, and they will not be wronged.

112. And God cites the example of a town that was secure and peaceful, with its livelihood coming to it abundantly from every direction. But then it turned unappreciative of God’s blessings, so God made it taste the robe of hunger and fear, because of what they used to craft.

113. A messenger from among them had come to them, but they denounced him, so the punishment seized them in the midst of their wrongdoing.

114. Eat of the lawful and good things God has provided for you, and be thankful for God’s blessings, if it is Him that you serve.

115. He has forbidden you carrion, and blood, and the flesh of swine, and anything consecrated to other than God. But if anyone is compelled by necessity, without being deliberate or malicious, then God is Forgiving and Merciful.

116. And do not say of falsehood asserted by your tongues, “This is lawful, and this is unlawful,” in order to invent lies and attribute them to God. Those who invent lies and attribute them to God will not succeed.

117. A brief enjoyment—then they will have a painful punishment.

118. For those who are Jews, We have prohibited what We related to you before. We did not wrong them, but they used to wrong their own selves.

119. But towards those who do wrongs in ignorance, and then repent afterwards and reform, your Lord thereafter is Forgiving and Merciful.

120. Abraham was an exemplary leader, devoted to God, a monotheist, and was not of the polytheists.

My Interpretation:

Divine Archangel Gabriel is trying to tell Muhammad that the innocent people who have humbled themselves to believing will be saved from this life of hardship, when they leave here, they will have no memories of their pain and being oppressed but only bliss in Heaven.

Line 111 is telling of the Last Day of Mankind that will reflect back ALL that each soul has done. This will create a natural law of consequences of actions. So anyone who truly wants to see Heaven, needs to clear their karma, and truly be a kind person to never leave anything unsaid, or undone that could have uplifted another soul. When you give bliss, you will see that bliss back to you, and that will be your Heaven you live in when you die.

112 is a story about a civilization that used to live harmoniously with God, and nature, but then overtime the people became ungrateful and started to fall to immorality. So God sent down hardship on the people so that they will be able to know by comparison what they used to have and to humble themselves. So they received a famine and other events to bring fear to them because of the things they used to evoke-possibly they started to human sacrifice or kill unjustly others within the community.

A messenger came to these people with the warnings and guidance to get back on track, but they denounced him as a liar, crazy or did not pay him any heed. So the people suffered more in their darkness of arrogance and unwillingness to be guided.

Next in Line 114, describes how humans may eat everything except for dead things, blood, the flesh of swine and anything killed or sacrificed to a smaller god or goddess. There are valid scientific reasons for each of these prohibitions that anyone can look up. Blood drinking for a human, can cause major sickness. Eating something dead will cause you to contract disease and be fatal. Eating pig is not healthy, and has scientific consequences because of the fat, and the eating habits of the pigs-they are cannibals and carnivores. We should never eat other carnivores or we are ingesting disease into our bodies, since that is basically indirectly ingesting other dead meat into our system. The only animals humans should eat are those who are herbivores. So we do not indirectly ingest other forms of meat into our system. Everything is connected. Pigs would eat humans if given the chance, and they have before-some old farmers have died at the hands of pigs when they fell into the pig pens. Be careful with pig meat, only in moderation if you have to eat it.

Perhaps the other god and goddess energy spoken over a killed animal is not good to ingest into the human soul? It somehow can make a person be swayed to believe in these deities that people worshiped instead of the ONE TRUE SOURCE of nature, space, and beyond.

Line 118, because of the broken commandments of many of the Jews before in the past that were to follow Moses’s tablets, some privileges were taken away from them. Since some of them (especially the Elders)  showed ungratefulness in the saving of their people from the bonds of slavery. But here we see that the Jews have a chance once again with the revelations from Muhammad to repent and to become brothers under the same God with the muslims, that Moses had visions from in the past.

God leads us to equality, truth, righteousness, love, brotherhood and sisterhood, fairness, and respect, and humility. Anything else opposite of these traits in humans has not been invoked by God and His Angels, but instead by the darker corners of the human ego-where Satan whispers.

Surah Al-Nahl (The Bee): Chapter 16 (line 100-110)

100. His authority is only over those who follow him, and those who associate others with Him.

101. When We substitute a verse in place of another verse—and God knows best what He reveals—they say, “You are an impostor.” But most of them do not know.

102. Say, “The Holy Spirit has brought it down from your Lord, truthfully, in order to stabilize those who believe, and as guidance and good news for those who submit.”

103. We are well aware that they say, “It is a human being who is teaching him.” But the tongue of him they allude to is foreign, while this is a clear Arabic tongue.

104. Those who do not believe in God’s revelations—God will not guide them, and for them is a painful punishment.

105. It is those who do not believe in God’s revelations who fabricate falsehood. These are the liars.

106. Whoever renounces faith in God after having believed—except for someone who is compelled, while his heart rests securely in faith—but whoever willingly opens up his heart to disbelief—upon them falls wrath from God, and for them is a tremendous torment.

107. That is because they have preferred the worldly life to the Hereafter, and because God does not guide the people who refuse.

108. It is they whom God has sealed their hearts, and their hearing, and their sight. It is they who are the heedless.

109. There is no doubt that in the Hereafter they will be the losers.

110. But then your Lord—for those who emigrated after being persecuted, then struggled and persevered—your Lord thereafter is Forgiving and Merciful.

My Interpretation:

Archangel Gabriel is telling Muhammad that there will be people who will shout and point fingers at him for changing some of the verses of the other Holy books that have been given. He is only to tell them that the Holy Spirit guided him to do this, because it was better and clear for mankind. It also has been a repeat of the same messages in some of the books in order to support what truth has been given before and to come as another warning and glad tiding to the era of people who need to hear it.

in Line 103, People may think that a human being has been teaching Muhammad, but it is not true-it is a an Angel of God, and here is where we see Gabriel speak about himself here. It is given in a Arabic tongue so it can not be manipulated and changed by outside sources who do not read Arabic or speak the language.

We have a very intelligent Designer.

For the rest of the lines we learn that when a person is arrogant and truly not an openminded person, he will become more and more blinded to the Signs from God. He will not be able to see them because their direction of life will have closed off their god-given senses such as Sight, Hearing, and Feeling. They will become numb, similar to like a robot, who is able to breathe, move around, and somewhat enjoy life, but they lack the faith in the spirt of something beautiful and pure, and they themselves will die in this blindness and be forever stuck there in the dark, unless Allah decides they are worthy in heart to help guide them to find their Sight back.  But it ALWAYS starts with the choice to humble one’s self to the messages that are not from your own ego identity.

Surah Al-Nahl (The Bee): Chapter 16 (line 90-100)

90. God commands justice, and goodness, and generosity towards relatives. And He forbids immorality, and injustice, and oppression. He advises you, so that you may take heed.

91. Fulfill God’s covenant when you make a covenant, and do not break your oaths after ratifying them. You have made God your guarantor, and God knows what you do.

92. And do not be like her who unravels her yarn, breaking it into pieces, after she has spun it strongly. Nor use your oaths as means of deception among you, because one community is more prosperous than another. God is testing you thereby. On the Day of Resurrection, He will make clear to you everything you had disputed about.

93. Had God willed, He would have made you one congregation, but He leaves astray whom He wills, and He guides whom He wills. And you will surely be questioned about what you used to do.

94. And do not use your oaths to deceive one another, so that a foot may not slip after being firm, and you taste misery because you hindered from God’s path, and incur a terrible torment.

95. And do not exchange God’s covenant for a small price. What is with God is better for you, if you only knew.

96. What you have runs out, but what is with God remains. We will reward those who are patient according to the best of their deeds.

97. Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while being a believer, We will grant him a good life—and We will reward them according to the best of what they used to do.

98. When you read the Quran, seek refuge with God from Satan the outcast.

99. He has no authority over those who believe and trust in their Lord.

100. His authority is only over those who follow him, and those who associate others with Him.

My Interpretation:

Many muslims like to think that Allah is speaking to Muhammad directly, but HERE we see the Angel Gabriel who is in duty to God, speaking about the qualities of God. Gabriel also is telling Muhammad to tell his people that they need to fulfill the commandments of God already given to Moses, “thou shalt not steal, kill,”, etc. and not break them as they have been in the past.

Gabriel uses a metaphor of a woman in the village that knits together a piece of fabric by yarn, but then tears up the pieces. This is to show that mankind is to be brought together in spirit and not torn apart by ego and envy, or the other 7 sins that mankind likes to do to one another. Also do not lie to one another causing this separation.

Dividing up mankind and separating them in superiority or inferiority is how you receive the punishment from God, and remain isolated in the Hellish realms. Using religion as a way to make money or selling off certain parts of religious truths for a price is considered harmful and evil to mankind.

Think of it, as an example of a one priest receiving the revelations and is going to put them in a book, but then another priest from another religions comes along and PAYS him not to, so that it will somehow make his religion look better or more divinely inspired to control the people. This is how religion has been used over the years to make money…bits and pieces of truths and falsehoods have been sold to the highest bidder and often the person in most power.

Line 97 is Woman and men are taught to be equal here on a level of creation, so God does not favor one gender over the other. This is WHY so many women become muslims, they SENSE this spiritual equality in Islam in a way that sometimes Christianity did not give in their written books and in the priestcraft’s opinions. The problems with Islam today, is there are many men in charge of Islam’s religious structures that also think of women as inferior. Some do not, but some do and this is why in some Muslim countries today you see this oppression of the women’s spirits.

I am told though in the the Quran, any oppressors will receive the reflection of what they have done to others and will be a great punishment for them in the afterlife.

Line 98 is a great rebuttal for those who see Allah as Satan. This proves that Allah is only a guider away from Satan and says that only those who follow the evil desires of their hearts will be followers of Satan and he will only be able to lead those who are willing followers of doing evil and worshipping evil.

Surah Al-Nahl (The Bee): Chapter 16 (line 80-90)

80. And God has given you in your homes habitats for you, and has provided for you out of the hides of livestock portable homes for you, so you can use them when you travel, and when you camp; and from their wool, and fur, and hair, furnishings and comfort for a while.

81. And God has made for you shade out of what He has created, and has given you resorts in the mountains, and has given you garments to protect you from the heat, and garments to protect you from your violence. Thus He completes His blessings upon you, so that you may submit.

82. But if they turn away, your only duty is clear communication.

83. They recognize God’s blessing, but then deny it, as most of them are ungrateful.

84. On the Day when We raise up a witness from every community—those who disbelieved will not be permitted, nor will they be excused.

85. When those who did wrong see the punishment, it will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved.

86. And when the idolaters see their associates, they will say, “Our Lord, these are our associates whom we used to invoke besides You.” They will strike back at them with the saying, “Surely you are liars.”

87. On that Day they will offer their submission to God, and what they had invented will abandon them.

88. Those who disbelieve and obstruct from God’s path—We will add punishment to their punishment, on account of the mischief they used to make.

89. On the Day when We raise in every community a witness against them, from among them, and bring you as a witness against these. We have revealed to you the Book, as an explanation of all things, and guidance, and mercy and good news for those who submit.

90. God commands justice, and goodness, and generosity towards relatives. And He forbids immorality, and injustice, and oppression. He advises you, so that you may take heed.

My Interpretation:

Gabriel is communicating to Muhammad about Allah/ God’s ability to provide for the human species. Some are grateful for the shelter, clothing, food, etc., but many are not. Muhammad’s only duty is to clearly communicate these messages and leave them alone if they turn away. The people were in denial of the Signs from God back then and will be today.

It is said here that on the Last Judgement Day, a messenger from every community will be raised to become a witness and those who believed will be saved because they were not arrogant nor ungrateful as others.

Line 86 is a very interesting moment when ALL images and visions from the collective mind of the people will be made to appear in front of them. So the gods and goddesses that people are evoking and praying to will be shown to be CREATIONS of Allah, or creations of mankind, but they will not exist as gods or creators and the truth will be shown to the people, that is was only ONE Creator. Also there is this idea that IF these deities are aliens or other creation, they will say that people were lying about them putting themselves as gods of humans.

On the Last Day of mankind, all gods, goddesses and deities imagined will abandon the ones who worshiped them in error.

Line 88 is for those who were disbelievers, but ALSO oppressed others to believe in ONE God. Those leaders of the people who swayed people from a One God source will be punished double.

Muhammad is being told that every messenger has been chosen in every community or nation to be a witness among the people and to know the people enough to understand who is against God and who is a follower of the messengers.

God only inspires us to live a good and righteous life, while forbidding injustice and immorality creating more evil in the world.

This is is proof that we come from a Good Source…there is no evil in God. There is no darkness if God. The evil and darkness only exist as shadows of what the Light is not.

Surah Al-Nahl (The Bee): Chapter 16 (line 70-80)

70. God created you; then He takes you away. Some of you will be brought back to the worst age, so that he will no longer know anything, after having acquired knowledge. God is Omniscient and Omnipotent.

71. God has favored some of you over others in livelihood. Those who are favored would not give their properties to their servants, to the extent of making them partners in it. Will they then renounce God’s blessings?

72. God has given you mates from among yourselves; and has produced for you, from your mates, children and grandchildren; and has provided you with good things. Will they then believe in falsehood, and refuse God’s favors?

73. And yet they serve besides God what possesses no provisions for them in the heavens, nor on earth, nor are they capable.

74. So do not cite the examples for God. God knows, and you do not know.

75. God cites the example of a bonded slave, who has no power over anything; and someone to whom We have given plentiful provision, from which he gives secretly and openly. Are they equal in comparison? All praise belongs to God, but most of them do not know.

76. And God cites the example of two men: one of them dumb, unable to do anything, and is a burden on his master; whichever way he directs him, he achieves nothing good. Is he equal to him who commands justice, and is on a straight path?

77. To God belongs the unseen of the heavens and the earth. The coming of the Hour is only as the twinkling of the eye, or even nearer. God has power over everything.

78. God brought you out of your mothers’ wombs, not knowing anything; and He gave you the hearing, and the eyesight, and the brains; that you may give thanks.

79. Have they not seen the birds, flying in the midst of the sky? None sustains them except God. In this are signs for people who believe.

80. And God has given you in your homes habitats for you, and has provided for you out of the hides of livestock portable homes for you, so you can use them when you travel, and when you camp; and from their wool, and fur, and hair, furnishings and comfort for a while.

My Interpretation:

We are learning here how Gabriel is telling Muhammad that all these blessings come to people and they often times do not show appreciation or they worship smaller gods and goddesses, in honor of these things. They serve and worship these deities that will not bring them to Heaven or Unity Consciousness of Allah as I like to refer to it.

The other day, I found a very interesting verse in the Bhagavad Gita, about this:

“These men pray for passage to heaven, thus attaining the realm of Indra, home of the happy; there they delight in celestial pleasures. Pleasures more spacious than any earthly they taste awhile, till the merit that won them is all exhausted: then they return to the world of mortals…hungry still for the food of the senses, drawn by desire to endless returning.…such men must return to life on earth, because they do not recognize me in my true nature. Those who sacrifice to the various deities, will go to those deities. The ancestor-worshippers will go to their ancestors. Those who worship elemental powers and spirits will go to them. So, also, my devotees will come to me” (9:20, 21, 24, 25.–Prabhavananda).

As you can see even the Hindus were never supposed to divide the Supreme Godhead as Islam teaches.

If you fail to recognize the ALL while alive…you may have to come back to this world of suffering (and some joy) in order to learn once again.

Showing gratitude for all the amazing things given to us in nature and in our lives, will allow us to experience more blessings in this life and the hereafter.
